A One-of-a-Kind Celebration of Culture, Community, and Connection
This unique event is the first of its kind—designed to build lasting networks, strengthen community ties, and celebrate diversity through food, fashion, and conversation. Attendees are warmly encouraged to wear traditional clothing, share dishes from their culture, and engage in meaningful dialogue about how we can collectively support and uplift the refugee community.

Bridging the University and Wider Community
The event will serve as a vibrant bridge between the university and the wider public by highlighting the invaluable contributions of refugees, fostering collaboration, and driving innovative solutions to social justice challenges.

Empowerment Through Collective Action
Through a variety of sessions and interactive experiences, we aim to empower individuals, create sustainable partnerships, and demonstrate that collective action is a true superpower in addressing community needs and social inequalities.

Global Flavours, Shared Stories
During lunch, guests will enjoy a rich selection of international food and drink, generously prepared by attendees offering dishes from their home countries. This is more than a meal—it’s a chance to connect through culture, share personal journeys, and build understanding through shared experiences.
